Description

Program includes student workbooks, teacher lesson plans and family newsletters targeting grades 4,5, and 6. There are 6 monthly lessons/grade level focusing on 6 different fruits and vegetables. HOTM is a standardized curriculum. The lessons promote a healthy lifestyle, including eating more fruits and vegetables, choosing healthy beverages, and engaging in physical activity, in addition to increasing awareness of local agriculture. The lessons are linked to the National English Language Arts and Math CC standards and where applicable to the NGSS and California Nutrition competencies. Free download to registered partners.

This is a group nutrition workshop curriculum for older adults that upholds principles of trauma-informed engagement and nourishment. Adults aged 65 and over will enjoy conversation, reflection, cooking, movement, sharing a meal together, and exploration of holistic skills for nutritional well-being.

Intended audience: Adults ages 60+
Available: Summer 2025
