Join us for an exciting and informative CATCH Kids Club (CKC) program training session, open to all CFHL staff who want to become implementers and/or community trainers. This is also an opportunity for current implementers to recertify and enhance their skills.

CATCH CKC is designed for elementary and middle-school-aged children (K-8) and consists of nutrition education and physical activities to encourage active living and healthy eating.

The schedule is as follows:

Implementer Training: Wednesday, November 13, 2024

Community Trainer Training: Wednesday-Friday, November 13-15, 2024

Location: Redding, CA

Implementation Training: Participants will learn how to successfully implement health and wellness programming in their schools or organizations. The implementation training is a full one-day training.  Participants are responsible for travel costs associated with this training, and lunch is not provided.

Community Trainer Training: Participants who want to train others in their community in CATCH programming can attend the three-day training academy option. Here, you will learn how to successfully implement health and wellness programming and teaching strategies to host your own training. Attendees who pass a certification test at the end of this training will be certified CATCH Community Trainers and can conduct CATCH professional development training within their districts, organizations, and regions. This training will be held on November 13–15; participants must attend all three days. Participants are responsible for travel costs associated with this training, and lunch is not provided.
