SNAP-Ed Defunding Impact Project Research Briefs

Updated on:

The Nutrition Policy Institute (NPI) is pleased to release three research briefs published as part of the SNAP-Ed Defunding Impact Project (SNAP-Ed DIP):

  1. Defunding SNAP-Ed: The Impact on California’s Health Departments & Communities
  1. Defunding SNAP-Ed: The Impact on Community Organizations Across California
  1. Defunding SNAP-Ed: Local Perspectives on the Future of Nutrition & Physical Activity Programs

Both the interviews with local health departments and the surveys of community partners to gain this insightful information could not have happened without the time, effort, and deep commitment to the health and well-being of those communities. The NPI CFHL team is grateful for all the work done to support not only this study, but the program’s ongoing evaluation efforts since 2015.
